About the Workshop

The THREE-PART workshop series will teach you all the basics to safely maintenance and upgrade your electrical system. You'll get hands-on practice changing outlets, light fixtures, switches, and both ceiling and bath fans.


Tuesday, December 2nd (6-8pm): Outlets

Tuesday, December 9th (6-8pm): Light Fixtures

Tuesday, December 16th (6-8pm): Fans


*You must be able to attend all three sessions as the build on each other.

Pay-It-Forward Ticket: This helps us continue to offer workshops anyone can afford.

Full Cost Ticket: If you're able, we ask you choose this option.

Or please choose another ticket level that enables you to attend without causing you hardship.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTORS


Alex Mikutin, Master Electrical Contractor and owner of Mukutin's Enterprise, join us for this series to share his nearly two decades of experience as an electrician. We are honored to have the opportunity to learn from a true master of their trade.


Morgan Day serves as the ToolBOX Program Coordinator, where she channels her considerable expertise in nonprofit home repair and new construction. Using her holistic understanding of building, Morgan designs and delivers workshops on a wide range of topics that empower participants with valuable, hands-on knowledge.


Frequently asked questions


Each ticket provides entry & participation for one individual. All tools, materials, and safety equipment are included in the ticket price. Tickets are not refundable.

Yes, registration is required to attend our workshops. All attendees must show their tickets which will be delivered by email after registration. 

Participants must at least 16 years old and anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. (ONE adult per ONE minor)

You are welcome to register for a different workshop or email morgan@richmondtoolbank.org to be placed on the waitlist. Being placed on the waitlist is not registration.

If you need to cancel, notify morgan@richmondtoolbank.org as early as possible so we can notify those on our waitlist. You are welcome to re-register yourself at the next available workshop.

If ToolBank must cancel or reschedule the workshop for any reason (i.e. instructor cancellation, severe weather, low registration), fees will be honored, and registration will be transferred to another date if desired. Otherwise, registration fees are non-transferable.
